To celebrate this blog’s first birthday we’re hosting book giveaways all week.
It’s like being invited to a birthday party and you’re the one who gets a gift. 
Today’s book is Give Them Grace: Dazzling Your Kids With the Love of Jesus by Elyse Fitzpatrick and Jessica Thompson.
The authors would be delighted to hear that I (Gloria) spent a solid minute debating whether or not I should include a list of rhyming spoof titles for their book in this post. The debate was over when I realized that I couldn’t supply a funny cartoon to accompany with my spoof titles.
Believe me, a former California girl, when I say that this book is rad. All joking aside, the kind of radical reorientation to grace that the authors describe in this book will forever change how you view your mothering.
Here’s a description from the authors’ website:
“What makes Christian parenting distinctly Christian? More pointedly, what would make your parenting different from that of a Mormon or moral atheist? When we witness to adults about our faith we’re careful to tell them that they can’t work their way into heaven, but is that the message we give our children? Do they know what the gospel is?
