Earlier this year Melanie Yong shared about how young moms can be involved in discipleship with other women.
I was personally challenged by her articles in how she cheerfully communicated our need for dependence on the strength that God supplies (1 Pet. 4:11). When I survey my “earthly all” and gauge my potential for discipleship on my energy level then I’m tempted to excuse myself from discipleship (both being discipled and discipling others). Melanie reminded me of how Jesus calls all of us to make disciples and gives us everything we need for life and godliness.
Melanie shares candidly and gracefully about the purpose of discipleship, our sufficiency for discipleship, where the time comes from in discipleship, and how to realign our priorities for discipleship.
